The LSU summer camp that was in session over the last two days has already paid dividends for head coach Les Miles and the Tigers, as 2013 Manvel wide receiver Kyrion Parker committed on Monday, per recruiting analyst Fletcher Whiteley of TexasHSFootball.com and later confirmed by other outlets.
Kyrion Parker Commits To LSU Tigers
LSU added a 2013 prospect on Monday who was an unknown only weeks ago.

The fourth wide receiver commit in the class for LSU and the 15th pledge overall, Parker is 6-3 and 200 pounds. He earned 12 offers despite only recording one catch his junior season, which ended in the first game as a result of a broken collarbone. Since then, Parker has transferred from Houston Lamar to 4A state runner-up Manvel and seen his recruitment skyrocket despite the lack of junior film -- his play in practice during the spring evaluation period was enough to convince those 12 coaching staffs to extend offers.
Rated as a three-star prospect by Rivals and 247Sports, Parker impressed at the LSU camp ($):
Parker showed why he is in demand as he was easily the talk of the camp, making catch after catch. He showed the ability to get behind the corners but also was able to go up and get a jump ball with his height and athleticism. His hands were consistent, and he had solid sideline presence as well. His upside is very high for sure.
Given that upside, it would not be a surprise to see Parker earn a fourth star during the summer or in the fall when he is able to put some plays on film.
