Jalen Ramsey, a top cornerback recruit, committed to the USC Trojans Monday.
Jalen Ramsey Commits To USC Over Vanderbilt, Washington
USC lands a stud corner from Tennessee.

Ramsey stars for Brentwood (Tenn.) Academy. He chose USC over offers from Auburn, Clemson, Mississippi, Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Washington, with Vanderbilt making a strong push late.
Ramsey was a consensus four-star recruit and a borderline top-100 player nationally as of mid-June, but an exceptional performance at The Opening in early July has him shooting up recruiting boards on all four of the major services.
Ramsey is a large corner at 6’0 and 190 pounds. He has great length and very good quickness. Those attributes helped him to stick with Ricky Seals-Jones, the top receiver nationally, at The Opening. Known for his ability to press, Ramsey wowed analysts with his ability to turn and run with receivers in a camp setting that does not lend itself to physical play.
USC now sits at 15 commitments, almost all of which are rated in the top-five nationally at their respective positions. Ramsey joins USC corner recruit Chris Hawkins and safety Su’a Cravens to form an awesome secondary.
Due to NCAA sanctions, the Trojans can take a maximum of only 18 players in 2013.
