Reuben Foster Visits Georgia Again, Says He’ll Play With Current UGA Commit

Georgia has the good fortune of seeing this year’s top two recruits hail from the Peach State. The bad news, of course, is that No. 1 recruit Robert Nkemdiche has already committed to Clemson and No. 2 Reuben Foster is an Alabama commit. But hang on there -- could Mark Richt have a shot at swiping the five-star inside linebacker from Nick Saban?

Foster’s mid-June visit to Athens looked like something of a formality, but he visited again over the weekend, saying he “wanted to spend three” nights and “didn’t want to go back.” Standard recruit stuff, but he did offer up a couple very interesting comments, via 247 Sports:

"I hung out with Jarvis Jones, Alec Ogletree, Alexander (Ogletree) and they really preached to me faith before fame."

Also noteworthy from Foster's interview was the declaration that while he currently remains committed to Alabama, he plans on playing his college ball alongside close friend Tray Matthews, a safety from Newnan, Georgia currently committed to the Bulldogs.

He does affirm he’s still committed to Alabama, and tells ESPN Matthews planned to commit to the Tide at one point. So it looks like the two will keep recruiting each other while the two schools keep hammerin’ away.
