The Opening 7On Tournament Down To 4 Teams

The 7-on-7 tournament at Nike’s The Opening is now three rounds deep, with two teams already eliminated.

In the first game of the day, Texas QB commitment Tyrone Swoops led his team to victory over Penn State QB commitment Christian Hackenberg. Game two featured a tight battle of defenses as SuperBad's Matthew Thomas intercepted UGA commitment Brice Ramsey three times.

Swoopes’ hot streak would not continue in round two, as he threw multiple interceptions against USC QB commitment Max Browne’s team. Superbad continued its streak of close wins, as Ryan Switzer scored the winning touchdown over Shane Morris’ Land Sharks.

Morris’ team bounced back to defeat Alpha Talon, ending Alpha Talon’s day. Vapor Talon dominated Alpha Speed, with a big performance by its sizeable group of receivers.
