Vanderbilt will host a pair of its biggest four-star targets in running back Jordan Wilkins and outside linebacker Zach Cunningham.
Vanderbilt football recruiting: Jordan Wilkins, Zach Cunningham visiting Commodores
A pair of four-star targets will check out Vanderbilt next weekend, with running back Jordan Wilkins and linebacker Zach Cunningham planning trips to Nashville.
Wilkins had 14 offers, but has narrowed down his choices to three: Arkansas, Ole Miss, and Vandy. The 6'1, 210-pound Wilkins is a big body for a running back, and could make an interesting tandem with fellow four-star back Johnathan Ford, who committed to Vanderbilt last week. He visited Arkansas last week, but Vanderbilt is the only in-state school the Codrova, Tennessee native is looking at. Apropos of absolutely nothing, he'd mark a trend in skill position players named "Jordan" picking the 'Dores, following in the footsteps of this year's battery of Jordan Rodgers and Jordan Matthews.
Cunningham is a 6’4, 195-pound prospect from Pinson, Alabama, and is looking around the SEC: he’s taken visits to Auburn and has Tennessee on the docket, but has also visited Oregon.
With 22 recruits in the book -- with four four-stars, according to Rivals -- James Franklin is building on one of the best seasons in program history with one of the best classes the school has ever had.
