Matthew Thomas destroys Michigan QB recruit Shane Morris

Who says all-star games are just for fun?

Someone forgot to tell Miami (Fla.) Booker T. Washington’s Matthew Thomas.

Late in the second quarter of the Under Armour All-America Game, Thomas unloaded on Michigan QB recruit Shane Morris as Morris scrambled out of the pocket after a pump fake failed to get his intended receiver open down field.

Thomas is one of the most explosive players in the country, and it’s safe to say Morris doesn’t often see speed like that, if ever, playing his high school football in Michigan.

Morris is one of the highest rated quarterbacks in the country and the leader of Michigan’s class. Thomas is uncommitted, but considering Florida State, Miami, Georgia and Alabama, among others.
