Why having the cameraman in the backfield isn’t the best idea
That’s right, there’s a cameraman in the backfield lending some creative shots to the broadcast on ESPN. And Team Nitro is sure glad he was there, as the snap ricocheted off the cameraman back to the quarterback, like a wild pitch back to the catcher off a friendly backstop in baseball.
While this would be a horrible idea in a real, meaningful football game, it’s totally worth it if it adds even a scintilla of production value to what has been one of the most boring showings of football in the history of the sport since the advent of the forward pass.
