Defensive end recruit Da’Shawn Hand names 5 leaders
One of 2014’s top prospects has made his first leaderboard.

Hand is rated as a five-star recruit by both Rivals and Scout. He is listed as the top overall defensive end recruit in his class by Scout. Recruiting services have yet to create overall lists for the class of 2014, but Hand has a good shot to be at or near the top of the lists nationally, regardless of position.
As a high school junior, Hand is already at a good size for a college defensive end. He is measured at 6’4, 245 pounds by Rivals and 6’4, 260 pounds by Scout, with another year to grow before heading off to college. His 40-yard dash time is somewhere between the 4.6-4.8 range, so he has the tools to be a dominant force.
