After some brief flirtation with multiple schools in the SEC, Christian Morris is sticking with his original commitment. The UCLA Bruins are his school of choice, despite interest from Ole Miss. Morris joins a great class of offensive linemen for UCLA that figures to bolster depth at almost every spot (center, guard, tackle) where Jim Mora needs it.
Christian Morris signs with UCLA over Ole Miss on National Signing Day
Christian Morris spurned Ole Miss at the last minute and signed with the UCLA Bruins.
Bruins Nation has to be thrilled. This is what they wrote up at the original commitment.
Once again, the coaching staff is showing no fear, going back into SEC territory to pluck more recruits out of their pockets. You have to expect the schools closeby will want to keep recruiting him, especially since his parents are concerned about the distance, but hopefully Morris will stick to his commitment come February.
