    Oklahoma has landed one of the marquee prospects from its own state, as four-star safety Steven Parker announced Tuesday that he will be a Sooner. He chose OU over Auburn, Texas A&M, and others.

    Listed at 6’2 and 188 pounds, Parker attends Jenks (Okla.) High School and hails from the city of the same name.

    One of the top players in the state of Oklahoma for the 2014 class, Jenks (Ok.) safety Steven Parker has seen his recruitment take off this spring and is now up to around 15 offers.

    Parker is on spring break and took the opportunity to make a trip down to the Lone Star State. On Wednesday, Parker visited College Station to check out the Aggies ($) and will be in Austin on Thursday to find out more about the Longhorns.
