Dylan Sumner-Gardner is one of the top ten safeties in the country, but as he told Wescott Eberts of SB Nation Recruiting, its his versatility and ability to play either cornerback or safety that makes the Texas A&M recruit an ideal recruit for the SEC.

The 6’3, 190-pounder is a consensus four-star quarterback because of his consistent, professional mechanics and footwork. It’s clear Allen has been the beneficiary of excellent quarterback coaching, as he makes far fewer mistakes than most top quarterback prospects. Allen passed for 3,119 yards and 36 touchdowns as a junior with only seven interceptions. He had over 20 college offers, including Arizona, Arizona State, Notre Dame, Ohio State and UCLA, before committing to the Texas A&M Aggies. He was also high on recruiting lists because of his 3.9 GPA. He was the fourth QB to be invited to the Elite 11 as well as the Opening. Allen is on Twitter @KyleAllen_10.
