Listed at 6’6 and 270 pounds, Tucker attends Hamilton (Ariz.) High School and hails from Chandler, Ariz. Tucker is rated highest by Scout, which considers him a five-star prospect and the third-best offensive tackle in the country. Each of the other three major recruiting services (Rivals, 247sports and ESPN) rates Tucker as a four-star prospect.
The 247sports composite, which aggregates the ratings from all four major recruiting services, rates Tucker as a four-star prospect. The composite ranks Tucker as the 82nd-best prospect in the nation, considering him the seventh-best offensive tackle in the country and the second-best player in the state of Arizona.
Tucker becomes the seventh consensus four-star commitment in Stanford’s Class of 2014. His commitment pushes Stanford to 16th in the 247 Sports standings and the top spot among Pac-12 schools. Tucker is the second offensive tackle taken by the Cardinal, joining fellow Arizona-based prospect A.T. Hall.
