The 247sports composite considers him the 12th-best prospect in the class, rating him as the third-best cornerback in the country and the best player in the state of Alabama. He is the sixth player in the Tide’s class who is considered the top player in his state.
Humphrey chose Alabama over Florida State, but also had offers from schools such as Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Georgia and South Carolina. Alabama had previously targeted cornerback Jalen Tabor, the fourth-best corner in the country, but he committed to Florida.
