Consensus four-star lineman Kaleb McGary made his college choice on Monday night, committing to Washington. McGary is one of the best players from Washington this year, earning him scholarship offers from programs like USC, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Boise State, Utah, Cal, and (of course) the Huskies.

McGary’s big frame -- 6’7, 270 pounds -- could lend itself to either side of the ball, though the major recruiting services project him to play offensive tackle at the college level. Defensive end could be in his future as well.
The Tacoma (Wash.) Fife High School product is the No. 21 offensive tackle and No. 278 overall prospect in the 2014 class according to the 247Sports composite rankings, which are an average of the major services’ evaluations.
Scout considers McGary the 26th-best OT prospect and a top-300 recruit. Rivals ranks him 30th among offensive tackles, while ESPN is significantly more pessimistic, placing him 78th at his position.
