HOUSTON, Texas -- At the Houston Nike Football Training Camp on Sunday at the Kinkaid School, Alabama safety commit Deionte Thompson was one of the standout players during the one-on-one portion of the drills.

Which other prospects stood out.
The drills aren’t supposed to favor safeties who don’t often work in man coverage like a cornerback, but Thompson was able to use his length and physicality to consistently make plays, helping him earn his invitation to The Opening.
The wide receivers were also able to hold their own, as tight end Jordan Davis had an impressive day, as did Derrick Dillon and Kemah Siverand, who were surely contenders for the wide receiver MVP award that went to Gary Haynes.
