Most teams in the country already have their quarterback recruits locked up for the class of 2015, but some are still looking to fill out their classes. Quarterbacks usually commit early to secure their spots, and you don’t often find elite prospects at the position still available this close to National Signing Day.
Still need a QB recruit? The top 5 still uncommitted for 2015
Not all of the signal callers are gone quite yet.

Here are five uncommitted quarterbacks in the 2015 haul to keep an eye on.
Lexington Catholic (Ky.) prospect Reese Ryan is rated as the 29th-best pro-style quarterback in the country (all rankings via the 247Sports Composite). The 6’2, 170-pound recruit claims offers from Illinois, Louisville, and Akron, as well as interest from Duke, Indiana, and Kentucky. He recently attended the U.S. Army National Combine, and took his most recent unofficial visit to Illinois November 30. Update: Ryan has since committed to Western Kentucky.
The 6’1, 190-pound Nick Robinson is rated the 40th-best pro-style quarterback in the country. From JSerra Catholic (Calif.), he claims offers from FIU and Florida Atlantic, but could end up walking on at Notre Dame.
Jack Beneventi is a big-bodied Illinois gunslinger who was previously committed to Iowa. His scholarship was reportedly pulled by the Hawkeyes’ staff after he transferred high schools and struggled, eventually being benched. The senior claims offers from Notre Dame, Louisville, Illinois, Western Michigan, UMass, and Wyoming, and is ranked as the 42nd-best pro-style quarterback in the nation.
Tempe (Ariz.) quarterback Emanuel Gant received his first offer in January from FCS Prairie View A&M, reportedly after improving his academic standing. Gant is a bigger quarterback, standing at 6’2 and 230 pounds, and he’s the first quarterback in Arizona high school history to top 10,000 career passing yards. Gant said earlier in January that he expects UTEP to drop by and visit. He is rated as the 50th-best pro-style prospect.
Koy Detmer, Jr., out of Somerset (Texas) High School, is the son of former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Koy Detmer and the nephew of former Heisman Trophy winner Ty Detmer, but is a bit undersized at 5’10 and 165 pounds. Detmer reported interest from UTSA, BYU, Houston, North Texas, and Utah, but does not claim any offers yet. He is considered the 52nd-best pro-style quarterback in the nation.
