Michigan’s only top-100 recruit flipped to Georgia on Signing Day
Not the best.

Outside linebacker Otis Reese, the class of 2018’s No. 87 player overall and No. 5 OLB, decided to flip his commitment from Michigan to Georgia. Reese is from Lee County, Ga., and decided to join the Dawgs’ juggernaut class rather than venture north to play for Jim Harbaugh.
Michigan’s class was ranked No. 20 in the country before Reese’s decommitment. The Wolverines aren’t recruiting terribly, but they’re not getting the same quality in 2018 that they did in 2017. Part of their low ranking is that they’re likely to finish with a smaller class, and that’s just a reality of scholarship math after a few classes of Harbaugh taking lots of players to turn over his roster. But as rival Ohio State barrels toward the No. 1 or No. 2 class, it’s not great.
