This is one way to announce you’re signing with Florida State. On National Signing Day on Wednesday, four-star receiver Tre’Shaun Harrison announced he’d be signing with the Noles’ 2018 class, and he did so with cheerleaders leading out his mom, who came out tomahawk chopping with an FSU shirt on.

“If we gon’ do it then, do it big.”

He even had a hat fake during his ceremony, briefly putting on an Oregon hat before his mom came out.
Harrison was committed to Oregon’s class when Willie Taggart was still in Eugene, so Harrison has opted to follow the head coach to Tallahassee. He decommitted in early December. Here’s Tomahawk Nation on the pick up:
Florida State needed to replenish its receiving corps this offseason, and today it not only got deeper at the position, but also quite a bit faster, as the Seminoles have gained the written commitment of Tre’Shaun Harrison, a blue-chip athlete from the Pacific Northwest.
Harrison (6’2, 190) is a product of Seattle (WA) Garfield High School and ranked the No. 7 athlete in the country. He’s lightning fast, having posted a 4.35 second 40-yard dash time. Harrison had been committed to Willie Taggart’s Oregon Ducks, but decommitted in early December, and just days later had a scholarship offer from the ’Noles, Taggart’s new employer. Florida State was able to get Harrison on campus for an official visit on the critical final weekend before National Signing Day.
Harrison’s antics definitely puts him in the Best Commitment Ceremonies Hall of Fame. Kudos to him on the creativity!
