Colorado vs. Oregon 2012 TV schedule, odds and preview

Oregon is looking to avoid an upset as they host Colorado, who is just 1-6 on the year. Check Check Saturday’s live college football coverage here, and look through SB Nation’s many excellent college football blogs to find your team’s community.

The Oregon Ducks are looking to improve to 8-0 when they host the 1-6 Colorado Buffaloes. This should not be a difficult game for the Ducks, but they should not fall into the trap of looking forward to their next set of games, where three of their four opponents are ranked.

Head coach Chip Kelly is not looking ahead at all. He is treating this game against Colorado as he does any other:

“We keep the same approach, so it doesn’t matter who you’re playing,” Kelly said. “If you’re consistent in your approach and what you do, then we anticipate that not being an issue.”

If Oregon treats this game seriously, then they should be able to race out to a big lead like they have in so many games this year.

With Colorado struggling, head coach Jon Embree has said that he will still be going with Jordan Webb as his starting quarterback. Webb has completed just 127 of 228 passes for 1,351 yards with eight touchdowns and seven interceptions and he has been sacked 30 times this year.

Colorado also has a key injury to worry about in the secondary. Starting strong safety Parker Orms is uncertain with a concussion. If Orms does not play, it could result in things getting out of hand even quicker than they normally would.

Game time, TV channel: 3 p.m. ET, Pac-12 Network.

Point spread: Oregon is favored by 47.5 points.
