Maryland Terrapins quarterback Caleb Rowe tore his ACL on Saturday during the team's 20-17 loss to Boston College, and will miss the rest of the season. Rowe is the fourth quarterback that has been lost for the season for Maryland, and fifth if Danny O'Brien's transfer is included. C.J. Brown and Perry Hills both tore their ACLs, and Devin Burns suffered a Lisfranc injury. Burns and Hills were both hurt in the NC State game on Oct. 20th, which means the Terrapins have lost three quarterbacks for the year in just the past week.

There are currently zero healthy scholarship quarterbacks on Maryland's roster. The expected starter for the Terps' game against Georgia Tech on Nov. 3rd, Shawn Petty is a freshman linebacker. He played quarterback in high school, but it's basically worst case scenario for Maryland. Brian McMahon, a freshman tight end, is the other emergency quarterback.
Maryland fans are, understandably, not happy. They host Georgia Tech this Saturday, and still have Clemson and Florida State on their upcoming schedule.
