Dak Dillon-US PRESSWIRE - PresswireFranklin, the Mizzou quarterback, will be without his most athletic weapon. DGB, the nation’s No. 1 recruit this cycle, has shown flashes in this young season, getting at least one touch in all five games so far. He scored his first touchdown last week, against UCF on an 80-yard catch-and-run. He has 147 yards on 11 total touches so far.
Behind DGB on the most recent depth chart was fellow freshman Sean Culkin, who’s also enormous (he’s 6’5, 232 pounds and was considered a tight end by many recruiting analysts), but broke his hand and was supposed to redshirt this year. The more likely bet is Bud Sasser, a sophomore with seven career catches and appearances in 12 games.
