The first Saturday in October features an excellent schedule of conference play, including two top 10 clashes in the SEC.
LSU vs. Florida game time, TV schedule, spread and more
LSU and Florida will play the first of two top 10 games in the SEC on Saturday as the favored Tigers try to regroup after two lackluster performances.

Florida and LSU will start things off with a matchup in Gainesville, as the Gators try to knock off their favored rival from the West. Florida enters the game with two weeks’ rest after being idle in Week 5, while LSU is coming off a second straight closer-than-expected win. One week after edging out Auburn, LSU beat FCS Towson by just 16 points last Saturday. Both games led to Oregon and FSU jumping the Tigers in the AP Poll.
While it wasn't pretty, Will Muschamp's team impressed in the month of September with two road wins in the SEC. His defense was solid and the quarterback situation was settled with Jeff Driskel improving under center. But LSU will present an entirely different challenge, with elite talent on the defensive side of the ball. The Tigers humiliated Florida last year in Baton Rouge and, despite Florida's first-month rise up the rankings, Les Miles' team is favored again this season.
It’s the biggest CBS game of the season so far in the SEC, and familiar faces Verne Lundquist and Gary Danielson will have the call.
Game time, TV channel: 3:30 p.m. ET, CBS
Point spread: LSU favored by 2.5
