College football has a new No. 1 team: the Oregon Ducks. Oregon, which earned 44 of 59 first-place votes, was named the new top program Sunday when the USA Today Coaches' Poll was released, and featured the unbeaten Kansas St. Wildcats (No. 2) and Notre Dame Fighting Irish (No. 3) ahead of the No. 4 Georgia Bulldogs (No. 4).

The Alabama Crimson Tide, who lost Saturday, 29-24, to the Texas A&M Aggies, fell to No. 5.

Kansas State collected 14 first-place votes while the Fighting Irish claimed one.
