Florida St. Seminoles senior defensive end Brandon Jenkins will declare for the 2013 NFL Draft. Jenkins has missed almost the entire season because of an injury, so he is eligible for a medical redshirt that would allow him to spend another season in college. Instead, he'll be moving on to the pros.
Brandon Jenkins will declare for 2013 NFL Draft
The Florida State defensive end decided not to return to college next year.

Jenkins suffered a Lisfranc injury to his left foot in the Seminoles’ season opener. He was a preseason All-ACC selection and was considered a potential first round draft pick at that time. It remains to be seen how the injury affects his draft stock.
Jenkins broke out during the 2010 season, recording 13.5 sacks and a total of 63 tackles. He followed that up with 41 tackles and eight sacks in 2011. One of the players who had to step up in Jenkins' absence was Cornellius Carradine, who leads FSU in sacks with 10.5. Carradine is now considered a potential first round draft pick by Scouts, Inc.
