Notre Dame (8-0) went on the road and upended the Oklahoma Sooners, 30-13, last Saturday night and vaulted to No. 3 in the current BCS Standings. The Fighting Irish's suffocating defense continues to overwhelm opponents and is ranked second in the nation in points allowed, giving up an average of 9.9 points per game.
Senior linebacker Manti Te'o continued his dominant season, racking up 11 total tackles, a sack and an interception -- his fifth of the season -- in the win over Oklahoma.
The Panthers (4-4, 1-3 in the Big East) are winners of two-straight over Buffalo and Temple, and have alternated two-game winning and losing streaks all season. Pitt's senior quarterback Tino Sunseri has thrown for 2,199 yards so far this season with 13 touchdowns and two interceptions.

Point spread: The Fighting Irish opened this week as 18½-point favorites, according to OddsShark, but the line has since dipped to favoring Notre Dame by 16½ points.
