The Kent State Golden Flashes, still alive for a BCS bid, will try to put the finishing touch on a perfect conference record when they host the Ohio Bobcats on Friday. Kent State has won nine straight games and is 7-0 in MAC play.

The Bobcats started the season hot and built up some BCS heat of their own, but have since faded and are 8-3 overall on the year. All three of those losses have come during the conference schedule.

Kent State has already clinched a spot in the MAC title game on Nov. 30, where they will face Northern Illinois. The Golden Flashes ensured themselves of division title by taking down Bowling Green last Saturday. They are led by a pair of 1,000-yard rushers in Dri Archer and Trayion Durham. Archer has been the big-play threat of the two in amassing 1,284 yards and 14 touchdowns on just 125 carries.

Game time, TV schedule: 11 a.m. ET, ESPNU/ESPN3

Spread: Kent State favored by 7.
