At halftime, Florida was dominating Florida State. The Seminoles couldn’t take care of the football or go on any sustained drives. The Gators were holding strong and doing just enough on offense to stay on the field and wear down the Seminole defenders. Then FSU quarterback EJ Manuel threw a pick and things looked like they were getting worse.

But on Florida’s first drive of the second half, Jeff Driskel picked up an intentional grounding penalty, and Kenny Shaw had a big return. A few plays later, the Noles had pulled within three.
And then Bjoern Werner did a thing.
Florida State capitalized with another touchdown and took the lead, 17-13. Just a few plays later, Werner had a monstrous sack, bearhugging Driskel into the ground to put Florida in a 3rd and a lot.
It wouldn’t be a Florida game without inexplicable weird stuff going on. How does the honorable Spencer Hall feel about the situation?
