The MAC, America's premier weeknight Rust Belt touchdowns distributor, might be about to land its first-ever team in the BCS. It's probably also about to steal a bowl bid away from your conference, with more bowl-eligible teams than it knows what to do with. If your team needs a head coach, the MAC can probably send one along and just keep the touchdowns cranking.
#MACtion™
Our nation’s most entertaining fun-size sporting coalition is all grown up now.

Things are going pretty great for the MAC. And now it's time to get that paper:
The MAC is also taking control of its brand. The league has applied for a trademark of the #MACtion term popularized on Twitter during the league’s mid-week football broadcasts.
“Shirts could be on the Web site by the end of the week,” Commissioner Jon Steinbrecher told CBSSports.com.
Even though Spencer Hall probably invented the term, that’s cool and all. But I know for a fact the unofficial Sun Belt #SUNBEAST and Big Ten #INTHEWEIGHROOM hashtags won’t ever sell out, nor will this little number:
the mac can copyright maction all it wants but #goacc belongs to the people
