West Virginia’s Geno Smith recovered after looking to be hurt, but his status will now be one to monitor.

Before the incident, Smith was 20-of-30 for 183 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. The one-time Heisman Trophy favorite has fallen off in recent weeks, but remains one of the nation’s most important players.
