Alabama vs. LSU score update: Tigers take extremely rare late lead over Bama

Over the past two years, only two teams have given Alabama a late-game scare. Those teams are 2011 LSU and 2012 LSU.

The LSU Tigers now hold a fourth quarter lead over the Alabama Crimson Tide. Reflect on that in wonder. Zach Mettenberger lofted a touchdown pass to Jarvis Landry to complete a seven-play, 89-yard drive and make it 16-14. (Yes, that's a really weird score. It's DEATH STADIUM.) The quarterback then made a "call me" signal to the crowd, in reference to some Alabama trash talk thing something or other. I wasn't paying attention to that part, but maybe you caught the reference.

The highlight of the drive, and perhaps of our entire lives, was this catch and RRRUMBLE by 270-pound, bearded fullback J.C. Copeland, who entered the night with one career catch for seven yards:
