The Missouri Tigers' offensive line suffered another blow in a season that has been full of them, as right tackle Justin Britt's knee injury could keep him out for the rest of the season, Mizzou beat writer Dave Matter reported Monday.
Missouri vs. Tennessee: Justin Britt injury could be season-ending
Missouri Tigers right tackle Justin Britt could miss the rest of the season with a knee injury suffered against the Florida Gators.
Britt suffered the knee injury during the first half of Missouri's 14-7 loss to the Florida Gators on Saturday and did not return. Following the game, speculation spung up that it was a serious injury, perhaps an ACL injury.
Britt’s injury is just another to add to a growing pile for the Tigers this year. With Britt possibly missing the entire rest of the season, the Missouri offensive line will now be able to boast that all five original members of the starting line have missed time with injury at some point this year.
Missouri will face the Tennessee Volunteers on Saturday in their second-to-last conference game of the season.
