The Temple Owls football team has several names circulating around its vacant head coach position, according to Bruce Feldman of CBS Sports.
Temple coach rumors: Bob Diaco, Mario Cristobal among reported names
There are several names in play for the vacant head football coach position at Temple.

Feldman lists Mario Cristobal, Bob Diaco, Mark D’Onofrio, Stan Drayton, Chuck Heater and Matt Rhule as potential candidates for the job. In addition, other reports have claimed that Philadelphia Eagles defensive coordinator Todd Bowles is expected to interview for the position.
Former head coach Steve Addazio accepted the vacant position at Boston College on Dec. 4, leaving Temple without a head coach.
Cristobal had most recently been the head coach at Florida International before being relieved of his duties on Dec. 5. Diaco is currently employed as the defensive coordinator, linebackers coach and assistant head coach at Notre Dame. He was mentioned as a possible candidate for the head coach opening at Boston College before the team hired Addazio.
D’Onofrio is currently employed as defensive coordinator and assistant head coach to former Temple head coach Al Golden at the University of Miami. D’Onofrio was Temple’s defensive coordinator under Golden from 2006-2010 before following him to Miami.
Drayton currently serves as the runnings backs coach with the Ohio State Buckeyes; Heater was the defensive coordinator and defensive backs at Temple under Addazio; and Rhule is currently employed as the assistant offensive line coach with the New York Giants.
