2012 NAIA Football National Championship: Preview and TV schedule
Undefeated Morningside takes on one-loss Marian for the NAIA title Thursday night.

At 11-1, the Knights suffered their only loss against Saint Xavier (out of Illinois) in early November, falling 23-6 on the road. Meanwhile, the Mustangs have largely breezed by opponents this season, though some of their closest contests have come in the NAIA playoffs. On Nov. 17, they defeated Montana Tech, 40-35, and followed that up with a 47-44 overtime win over Southern Oregon the following week on Nov. 24. On Dec. 1, however, Morningside returned to its blowout ways, shelling Saint Xavier, 47-19, to reach the national title game.
Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. ET, and the game will be televised on the CBS Sports Network. Also the contest will be held in Barron Stadium in Rome, Ga.
