Saban: ‘Door closed’ on NFL jobs

Streeter LeckaDuring an interview on “Mike & Mike in the Morning” on Thursday, Alabama head coach Nick Saban once again addressed NFL rumors, saying he has “forever closed the door” on taking another head coaching job in the pros.
Saban spent two seasons as the head coach of the Miami Dolphins and had a 15-17 overall record. He left the franchise for Alabama following the 2006 season, which was Saban’s first losing season as a head coach. Since moving on to the Crimson Tide, Saban has helped to establish one of the most dominant programs in college football. Alabama won the BCS Championship for the third time in four seasons when it defeated Notre Dame on Jan. 7.
