Boston College coaching search down to Bob Diaco, Aaron Kromer, Pete Lembo?
Boston College has reportedly narrowed its search for a new head football coach to three candidates. It is believed that the team intends to announce the new hiring within the next two days.

Boston College’s search for the football team’s next head coach has been narrowed down to Notre Dame defensive coordinator Bob Diaco, Ball State’s Pete Lembo and New Orleans Saints offensive line coach Aaron Kromer, according to a report by Brett McMurphy of ESPN on Tuesday afternoon.
Diaco has reportedly been one of the top candidates for the position. According to multiple reports, Boston College’s athletic director Brad Bates was interested in pursuing Miami’s head coach Al Golden, but if Golden turned down the offer, the focus of the search would turn to Diaco.
If Bates plans on meeting with Diaco on Tuesday, it will likely occur later in the day as the defensive coordinator is currently in Arkansas attending the Broyles Award Luncheon. According to the Boston College Rivals website, Bates reportedly told the seniors on the football team in a meeting on Tuesday morning that a new head coach would be in place within the next two days.
