Most of the experts around the college football world see the 2012 Heisman Trophy vote as something of a match race between Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel and Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te'o.
Heisman Trophy Watch 2012: Johnny Manziel overwhelming favorite
It’s a two-horse race for the Heisman in most eyes between Manti Te’o and Johnny Football.

However, BOVADA doesn’t see it in nearly the same light, tabbing Manziel as a massive favorite with 1/25 odds. To put that in perspective, you could bet $100 on Manziel and your return would be exactly $4. Te’o comes in second with 5-to-1 odds.
It’s hard to make a great argument against Manziel, although some people simply won’t vote for him because he’s a freshman. Te’o also has detractors though, as only one defensive player has ever won the prestigious award, Charles Woodson, and he was also a kick return specialist.
Something has to give this year barring an insanely unforeseen upset on the part of Kansas State's Collin Klein, who is projected as a 35-to-1 underdog in all of this.
The Heisman winner will be announced on Saturday night, with ESPN’s coverage starting at 8:00 p.m. EST.
