After squeaking out a 7-6 win against BYU last week, Boise State will open Mountain West Conference play on Saturday when it travels to New Mexico to face the Lobos.

No. 24 Boise State has struggled offensively this season, but has still been able to win its last two games. The Broncos offense has failed to score a touchdown in two the their first three games. Boise State ranks 109th in the country, averaging 19.7 points per game. While the Broncos offense has struggled, the defense has been strong once again. Boise State has allowed 11.7 points per game through its first three games, good for 10th in the country.
New Mexico is 2-2 this season, but is coming off a 27-14 win at New Mexico State. The Lobos will play at home for the first time since the season opener after playing their last three games on the road. New Mexico will likely look to run the ball against the Broncos. The Lobos are 22nd in the country, averaging 234.8 rushing yards per game.
