Part of the schedule for the ACC’s first and only season with 14 members is out, with Pitt and Syracuse entering the fold. We don’t yet know times and dates, but we do know the matchups for the ACC’s first post-realignment season. From the ACC:
2013 ACC football schedule sort of released: Matchups include Pitt, Syracuse
The ACC shapes up to be an interesting conference in 2013, with two new teams, likely ranked squads in FSU and Clemson, and a little more bowl eligibility to go around.

The ACC was more-or-less a two-horse race in 2012, with Florida State and Clemson battling it out in the Atlantic Division. A 49-37 FSU win in the game between them more or less decided that the Seminoles would win the division - they did, beating everybody else - where they’d face an opponent from a weakened Coastal Division in the championship game and win - they did, beating Georgia Tech 21-15 - and go to the Orange Bowl - they did, beating Northern Illinois 31-10.
Those two teams figure to be strong again in 2013: Florida State returns many of the key components of a defense that was absolutely stifling in 2012, and Tajh Boyd is back to try and lead a team that scored 41 points a game this year - although he does lose several key components.
Syracuse joins the Atlantic Division, while Pitt joins the Coastal Division. Both went to bowl games in 2012, with Syracuse winning the Big East title and the Pinstripe Bowl. They’ll be under new guidance after Doug Marrone took the Buffalo Bills’ coaching job, as Scott Shafer was promoted. North Carolina State looked outside the program for a new head coach after going 7-5 last season, bringing in Dave Doeren - the same coach who got Northern Illinois to the Orange Bowl in the first place.
