The Alabama Crimson Tide will hold a parade celebrating their 2012 BCS Championship on Saturday, Jan. 19, according to the program's Facebook page. Head coach Nick Saban, athletic director Mal Moore, and other "dignitaries and special guests" will be in attendance, as well as the players and staff from the team. The parade will start at 2:30 p.m. ET at the corner of University Blvd. and Second Ave.
2013 Alabama championship parade schedule, route set
It’s time to celebrate in Tuscaloosa following Alabama’s third national championship in four years. Here’s the information for where and when the victory parade will happen.

Naturally, since the news was released on Facebook, there are a wealth of tremendous comments available for perusal. There is a lot of celebratory Roll Tide-ing, but it gets so much better. One inquisitive soul wants to know what city the parade will be held in, for instance, and another person would like you all to know that Alabama just scored again on Notre Dame, despite the game being over for nearly five days. I didn’t think football worked like that, but the Tide are making the rules now, it seems.
