The Hurricanes got some good news on Monday when a trio of players announced that they would be returning to Miami for their senior seasons.

Henderson earned an All-ACC honorable mention in 2012, and he appeared in 11 games for the Hurricanes. Linder, who is also an offensive lineman, has been a mainstay up front for Miami for several years. He has appeared in 36 games over the course of his college career, and he’s made 29 starts. He was a third-team all-conference selection by Phil Steele in 2012, and along with Henderson, he’ll help the offense’s transition into 2013.
Porter has been hindered by injuries throughout his career, though he finally got healthy toward the end of 2012 and made a couple of starts. He finished the season with nine tackles, including 2.5 for loss. He’s played in 15 games over the course of his Miami career.
Including these three players, the Hurricanes will return 20 starters in 2013.
