The Hokies appear to have their replacement for Bryan Stinespring, as former Auburn offensive coordinator Scot Loeffler has reportedly been hired to fill that same role at Virginia Tech.
Scot Loeffler is Virginia Tech’s new OC

Geoff BurkeVirginia Tech hired Scot Loeffler to be its new offensive coordinator on Monday, according to a report from Bruce Feldman of CBS Sports. Loeffler spent the 2012 season as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Auburn.
Reports earlier Monday indicated that Loeffler was in Blacksburg meeting with the Hokies for a second time. He replaces Bryan Stinespring, who had been Virginia Tech’s offensive coordinator since 2002. Loeffler has two seasons of experience as an offensive coordinator at the college level -- he ran Temple’s offense in 2011 and then took the reins at Auburn this past season.
