The dates for the Orange and Blue Debut are set, as Florida’s spring game will be held Saturday, April 6.
2013 Florida football spring game date set
The 2013 version of the Orange and Blue Debut on April 6 will be the first opportunity for Gator fans to see the team that finished 2012 ranked No. 9

Will Muschamp's squad is on much better terms this year than a year ago: the Gators finished 2011 at 7-6, ending the year unranked and unsure who their quarterback would be after the graduation of John Brantley. But in 2012, the Gators once again emerged as a national title contender, losing only to Georgia and in the Sugar Bowl to Louisville, finishing the year ranked No. 9 in the country.
Instead of a battle between Jeff Driskel and the now-transferred Jacoby Brissett for the QB spot, the question for those in attendance at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium will be who will take over the reins at running back after Mike Gillislee's graduation.
The No. 5 scoring defense will be on display as well -- although there won’t be any sacks, as quarterbacks are off limits for hitting. More than 38,000 attended last year, even with the west side of the stadium under construction.
The event will be broadcast on SunSports and available for streaming online through the Florida football website for those living out of state. Tickets are $5, but free for students, boosters and several other groups. It will also be broadcast via radio on the Gator IMG Sports Network.
