Florida Gators offensive lineman Jessamen Dunker has been suspended indefinitely following his arrest earlier in the week. Dunker was pulled over for driving a scooter without any tags on it, and the police discovered the scooter was reported as stolen. Dunker claims that he purchased the scooter, and did not know that it was stolen.
Jessamen Dunker arrested: Florida suspends offensive lineman indefinitely
The redshirt freshman was suspended following his arrest for driving a stolen scooter without any tags this past Wednesday.

Dunker was charged with grand theft of a motor vehicle, as well as a non-moving traffic violation. He spent Wednesday night in jail and was released the following morning.
Florida head coach Will Muschamp released a statement on Dunker’s suspension:
“I met with Jessamen Dunker this morning and I suspended him from all team activities until we get more information,” coach Will Muschamp said in a statement. “I have been on the road. I just met face-to-face with him this morning for the first time for about 15 minutes. Once we get a little more information, we’ll move forward, but he’s suspended from the team at this time. We’ll address that further when I know more.
The 6’4, 301 lb freshman from Boynton Beach redshirted during the 2012 season. It’s uncertain how long Dunker will be suspended, or if this will result in his permanent dismissal from the team. However, with four of the five spots on the offensive line filled with upperclassmen in 2013, it’s unlikely that Dunker would be in line to start anyway.
