Alabama offensive lineman Barrett Jones returned to practice on Tuesday and says he is ready to play in the BCS Championship Game.

Jones sprained his foot in the first half of the SEC Championship Game against Georgia on Dec. 1, but did not miss a play. He spent the rest of the month of December in a cast or boot, but now Jones says of his foot, “It’s good. I’m ready to roll,” later saying, “By the game, I should be 100 percent.”
Jones was a unanimous All-American selection in both of the past two seasons. Last season he earned the honors at left tackle, as well as the Outland Trophy, given to the best lineman in the college football. This season he switched positions and won the Remington Trophy, given to the nation’s best center. Jones started his career at Alabama as a right guard.
Barrett held Georgia's John Jenkins in check during the SEC title game and will have to battle Notre Dame nose guard Louis Nix III, the anchor of their defensive line, on Monday.
