Ronaiah Tuiasosopo could be telling his side of the Manti Te’o girlfriend hoax story in the near future, according to family members. His uncle, Peter Navy Tuiasosopo, says the family will get together this week to form a strategy for how and when Ronaiah will speak publicly.
Ronaiah Tuiasosopo interview could be coming soon
Ronaiah Tuiasosopo could be telling his side of the Manti Te’o hoax story in the near future. For now, he’s huddling with family members to discuss his options.

“We want to do it right,” Peter Navy Tuiasosopo said.
Ronaiah is allegedly the man behind Lennay Kekua, who was the girlfriend Manti Te'o thought he had but who did not actually exist.
Te’o is scheduled to discuss the situation with Katie Couric of ABC News on Thursday, which will be his first on-camera interview on the subject. Since the news of his non-existent girlfriend became public, Te’o has maintained that he had no part in the hoax and that he was the victim of a prank. He told ESPN on Friday that the person who supposedly duped him called to apologize after the story went national.
