The 2012 college football season is barely cold, but prognosticators and odds-makers are already looking ahead to next season. If the folks at Las Vegas Casino Bovada are correct, the Alabama Crimson Tide will hoist their fourth national championship trophy in five years next January at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, Calif. Bovada currently lists Alabama as 13/4 favorites to win the 2013 BCS title.
2014 college football national championship odds: Alabama, Oregon, Ohio State lead
Stop us if you’ve heard this before: Alabama is favored to win the next national championship.

In addition to the Crimson Tide at the top of the list, a few old standards aren't far behind. Oregon and Ohio State are listed at 6/1 and 7/1, respectively, Georgia checks in at 12/1 and LSU is listed at 16/1. But there are a few non-traditional championship contenders that have drawn Bovada's attention, too. Texas A&M, with Heisman-winning quarterback Johnny Manziel, is slotted at 10/1, and South Carolina, looking to give head coach Steve Spurrier another title, is at 18/1.
Oddsmakers seem to be impressed with Louisville’s recent domination of Florida in the Sugar Bowl, as the Cardinals are listed at 20/1. The Gators, meanwhile, join Clemson, Florida State and Stanford at 25/1.
If you’re looking for the biggest possible score, put your money on Boston College. The Eagles are listed at 500/1. Considering the fact that the SEC has won seven consecutive national titles, a bet on Missouri, Arkansas or Auburn may be the best shot at getting a big pay day. Mizzou is listed at 300/1, and the Razorbacks and Tigers are at 200/1.
