The Stanford Cardinal will be losing both of their playmaking tight ends from their 2012-13 Rose Bowl campaign. Not only is Zach Ertz declaring early, but so is Levine Toilolo. Toilolo had the option to return for one more season thanks to a medical redshirt, but opted instead to try out for the NFL

Ertz was the leading pass catcher for Stanford, and Toilolo was a valuable receiving option as well, hauling in 24 receptions for 393 yards and four scores. Toilolo was part of the three tight end machine for Stanford along with Ertz and Coby Fleener that made the Cardinal such a difficult team to defend during the heights of the Andrew Luck era, and Ertz and Toilolo were two of the big options that paved the path to a Stanford national championship.

Stanford will be losing their top five receivers from last year. Ertz and Toilolo depart along with running back Stepfan Taylor and wide receivers Jamal-Rashad Patterson and Drew Terrell.
