Jordan Hicks, Case McCoy reportedly not charged in San Antonio sexual assault

Jordan Hicks and Case McCoy will reportedly not have charges brought against them in connection with an alleged sexual assault case that got the pair sent home, but police have yet to officially rule them out.

US PRESSWIRE

Update: The San Antonio Police Department says the case isn’t closed and won’t comment on the status of the two players.

Jordan Hicks and Case McCoy will not be charged in connection with an alleged sexual assault incident that caused both to be sent home from the team's bowl game, reports Austin TV sportscaster Mike Barnes. Hicks's attorney stated that the case is closed and that no charges will be filed against either player.

McCoy and Hicks were sent home from San Antonio, a day before the team was set to play in the Valero Alamo Bowl. All Mack Brown said is that the players had violated team rules, but he also confirmed that San Antonio police were investigating two of the players on the team.

Hicks, a junior linebacker, was injured for the game, and denied his involvement with any wrongdoing at the time. McCoy, also a junior and the younger brother of Colt McCoy, played sparingly throughout the year in reserve of David Ash. McCoy started one game, but it was Ash who led the team to victory in the Alamo Bowl.
