The UCLA Bruins improved to 5-0 with a convincing 37-10 win against California on Saturday. UCLA is now one of two undefeated teams left in the Pac-12.
California vs. No. 11 UCLA: Bruins improve to 5-0
UCLA jumped on Cal early and cruised to an easy win.

UCLA entered the game as a heavy favorite and looked the part early on. The Bruins took a 3-0 lead on their opening possession and added two touchdowns on their next three drives to go up 17-0. Cal was able to answer with a pair of scoring drives to cut the lead to 17-10, but UCLA went on a 20-0 run to put the game away.
While the UCLA offense had plenty of success, the defense was just as impressive. Cal quarterback Jared Goff came into the game with some impressive numbers. He struggled against UCLA's defense, however, completing 26-of-43 passes for just 215 yards, no touchdowns and one interception.
The Bruins are now 5-0 with two crucial games coming up. UCLA will go on the road to face No. 5 Stanford next week before traveling to face No. 2 Oregon on Oct. 26.
