Johnny Manziel’s injured shoulder seems fine

The Texas A&M star looks to be fine after hurting his shoulder last week vs. Auburn.

Johnny Manziel is showing no ill effects from his shoulder injury, and has started 10/10 for 70 yards and a touchdown, leading the Aggies to an early 7-0 lead over Vanderbilt. From the looks of things, he's able to get some zip on the ball too.

Manziel has had a number of injury scares so far in 2013, from his knee trouble against Ole Miss to last week’s shoulder issue against Auburn. He was still in a sling on Monday, and was limited in practice throughout the week. The Aggies would still be dangerous without Manziel pulling the levers at quarterback, but he obviously makes them a much better team. It’s good to see that the shoulder injury won’t significantly hamper him going forward, barring further damage.

Update: And here’s touchdown No. 2, by which point he was 12/13.

Update: And here's No. 3. He's 15/17 for 175 yards with 45 minutes still to go.
